Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinden 1991 yılında mezun oldum. Uzmanlık eğitimime 1992 yılında SSK İzmir Eğitim Hastanesinde Kulak Burun Boğaz (KBB) dalında başladım ve 1997 yılında “Parsiyel Larenjektomi Uygulanan Olgularda Yutma Sorunu” başlıklı uzmanlık tezimi verip eğitimimi tamamlayarak KBB hastalıkları uzmanı oldum. Ardından 1997-1998 yıllarında Şırnak’ta askerlik görevimi yerine getirdim. Askerlik dönüşü 1998 yılında Aliağa SSK Hastanesinde çalışmaya başladım ve 2002-2005 yılları arasında aynı hastanenin başhekimlik görevini üstlendim. 2006-2010 yılları arasında İzmir Atatürk Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde KBB uzmanı olarak görev yaptım. 2010 yılında İrlanda'nın Dublin şehrinde Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, St. James Hospital ve Tallaght Hospital'da klinik gözlemci olarak çalıştım. 2010-2013 yılları arasında İzmir Katip Çelebi Üniversitesi, Atatürk Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde uzman doktor olarak çalışırken 2012 yılı mart ayında ABD'nin New Orleans şehrinde Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Louisiana State University, Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine’da klinik gözlemci olarak bulundum. Ardından 2013-2022 yılları arasında Dr. Suat Seren Göğüs Hastalıkları ve Cerrahisi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde görev yaptım. Bu hastanede görevimi sürdürürken 2014 yılında doçentlik unvanımı aldım. Mart 2022 tarihi itibariyle İzmir Özel Gazi Hastanesinde KBB ve Baş ve Boyun Cerrahisi Uzmanı olarak görevime devam etmekteyim. KBB hastalıklarının çeşitli alanlarında pek çok ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel makalem bulunmaktadır. Evliyim ve bir çocuk babasıyım.
