What are the Symptoms?
Rapid weight gain/loss, palpitations, hair loss, nervousness, and swelling in the neck are the most common symptoms. While underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) slows down life, overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) accelerates metabolism.
Watch Out for Nodules
Not every nodule is cancer, but every nodule must definitely be monitored. When deemed necessary, we determine the character of the nodule with a fine needle biopsy. Surgery is inevitable in large nodules carrying cancer risk or causing shortness of breath.
Surgery Technology
